It was great to meet so many old and new friends at the Putney Christmas Fair last Friday. We had the chance to hear about recent trips to the Canary Islands, Rome, South Africa and Greece while future plans for the Northern Lights, Vietnam, Morocco and cycling holidays were discussed.
We were joined by our friends from the Swiss Travel Centre plus Hugo and Grace who made the journey up from Kent. The chocolates seemed to go down well however it’s fair to say that having two of the biggest St Bernard Dogs in the UK was a very popular attraction. Daley Thompson rounded off the day by switching on the Christmas Tree lights.
Thanks to all of you that entered the competition – Mont Blanc is not in Switzerland and Monta Rosa is the highest mountain in that country. The lucky winner of the Valentina Hamper is Jenny T. from Putney.
Thanks to Nicola (Putney Town Centre Manager) for organising and Toni Trainor (http://trainordaviesdesign.com/) for the photos.
