Rick Stein’s India

As must for all curry and India fans is the current series on BBC2 – Rick Stein’s India.

The brilliant first episode started by bringing the food of Calcutta (West Bengal) to life before venturing down the coast of the Bay of Bengal to Chennai (Madras) and a visit to the Madras Club – the home of Mulligatawny. The 2nd episode concentrated on Mumbai (Bombay) and the French-influenced Pondicherry.

The show is on BBC2 on a Monday night at 21.00 and if you missed any episodes you can catch them all here.

The food of the Indian continent can be a real highlight and Rick is bringing the food and destination brilliantly to life. To talk about a holiday to India contact us at Putney Travel.
